Course Objectives

The course will familiarize educators and school staffs with best practices relating to the protection and safeguarding of learners. Participants will learn about child protection legislation in the UAE and the procedures and protocols to be followed to ensure a safe learning environment. It will further develop their knowledge about the different types of abuse, the sign and symptoms of abuse, and appropriate actions to be taken to protect learners.

Following are the outcomes of the Course:

  • Understand the importance of child protection and safeguarding learners in the learning environment.
